NYC Wedding Photographer: FAQ, Tips, and Recommendations

My Photography Coverage collections are priced based on these factors: Hours of Coverage, Location, Travel Time, Second Photographer, Albums and Wall Art, Additional Coverage as Rehearsal Dinner, and Welcome party or Next day Brunch.
I highly recommend a minimum of 8 hours of coverage; this will give you enough time from Getting Ready and for most of the reception events.
Additional coverage is needed when:
  • Separate locations for getting ready, ceremony, and reception.
  • If you are planning to document a formal exit.

Typically, around 1200 photos are provided for an 8-hour wedding coverage. However, the quantity may vary based on factors such as the wedding timeline, logistics, and travel time between the getting ready, ceremony, and reception locations.
Having a second photographer isn't necessary but available if you would prefer to have one. I would suggest having a second photographer in these cases:
  • If the groom is getting ready in a different location than the bride
  • If you want cocktail hour coverage
  • If you have access to balconies or high locations for your ceremony
  • If your wedding has 200 guests or larger
  • If you are not doing a first look and only have one hour to document family formals and reception details.
However, having a second photographer does not mean you will have lower quality coverage, so don't feel pressured to add one to your package.
The first step of the editing process is called "cooling". This process eliminates pictures where people have their eyes closed, flash did not fire or doesn't show flattering expressions. We will make sure to take enough pictures so every moment is displayed.

Yes, all images are edited. All our wedding photography coverage includes our "basic editing": Cropping, exposure correction, color correction, contrast, and white balance.

Certainly, all photos are meticulously hand-edited, All my wedding photography coverage includes "basic editing": Cropping, exposure correction, color correction, contrast, and white balance, black and white options, addressing minor blemishes, removing small objects, and minimally reducing wrinkles. My editing style is rooted in artistic preference and the natural surroundings, favoring soft tones, muted greens, and sharp blacks. The ambient light and environment also influence the tones and style during the shoot. It's important to note that my approach captures the authenticity of the moment, meaning elements such as street signs or natural wrinkles may be present in the images. If you have specific preferences or inquiries about my services, I'm open to discussing them to ensure your expectations are met. Additionally, for any Photoshop-related requests beyond the listed items, please inquire about pricing.
Any image alteration like weight slimming, removal of objects or people, wrinkle or acne removal, skin softening, or sky enhancement is available for an additional fee and not included in our "basic editing". If you have purchased an album, all album image selections will go through these enhancements at no extra cost.

The pictures will be edited at any point between 6 to 8 weeks after the wedding date.
